Blood donations and on-ground crisis relief efforts
DSC is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded on the principles of empathy, compassion, humility, and sacrifice. We are not politically aligned. We are not religiously affiliated. Our only commitment is to humanity. DSC links patients in need of blood donations and those who are willing to donate.
Our name reflects the values that drive our work. The name Donner Sang Compter is a heartfelt adaptation of a line found in a scout’s prayer. The original French reads, donner sans compter, meaning “to give without asking for anything in return.” By changing sans to sang–the French for “blood”–the name Donner Sang Compter becomes a play on words that combines the message of selflessness and compassion of its source with our mission.
